The Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is happy to announce the 2008 Cheers Las Vegas! Holiday Party scheduled on Wednesday, December 17^th. The much anticipated wide open bar event is sure to be one of the largest celebrations ever hosted by the Hard Rock. Female staff members at the Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel will join the holiday celebrations by replacing their regular uniforms with sexy Santa suits exclusively made for the special occasion. Also, the hotel is embroidered in festive decor that covers all the property from the casino floor to the Rock Spa. During the Cheers Las Vegas! Event, the Planet Hollywood will offer cocktails and hors d' oeuvres all over the property including Center Bar, Pink Taco, AGO, Wasted Space and the Poker Lounge.

It has been a very trying year for many, and the Hard Rock wants to give our local community an opportunity to escape the day-to-day grind, if even for only a few hours. The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is currently going through an $800 million expansion and renovation that began in 2007 and is expected to be finished by late 2009. The project includes the addition of more than 800 rooms, including a15-story south tower, a 17-story north tower, 60,000 square feet dedicated for meeting and convention space, and about 30,000 square feet of casino space. The project includes swimming pool expansion, the addition of several new restaurants and bars, a new Las Vegas nightclub, a new Joint live entertainment venue, several new retail outlets, and a new spa.
