Las Vegas Events cancels SCORE Las Vegas Cup IV

Las Vegas Events announced today that the famous SCORE Las Vegas Cup IV scheduled
for July 18th and 19th at the Dirt Track at Las Vegas
Motor Speedway has been cancelled. SCORE hasn’t released any official statements regarding the
event’s cancellation, however, several sources have mentioned that a lack of
entries for the non-points paying race as a possible cause.
“The SCORE Las Vegas Cup has been one of the most important Las Vegas summer events. Unfortunately, we could not deliver a race experience
this year that SCORE fans have become accustomed to and expect. In the future,
we will continue to support SCORE desert racing†said Pat Christenson,
president of Las Vegas Events.

We want to thank Las Vegas Events for their commitment and support, as well as those racers who had signed up and were ready to participate.
