Pop sensation Lady Gaga has captivated audiences around the globe with her stunning “Monster Ball†world tour. In 2010, Gaga has performed sold out shows throughout Europe, with North American dates set to begin on June 28th, 2010. With the majority of her North American Tour dates already sold out, Lady Gaga announced that she will launch a second leg of her Moster Ball Tour in North America beginning on February 19th, 2011 at Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall. The Tour will also make stops in Toronto, Las Vegas and New Orleans before wrapping on April 18 in Duluth, Georgia.
Described by Gaga as "the first-ever 'pop electro opera'", the Monster Ball Tour produced by Live Nation was launched in 2010, in support of Lady Gaga's “The Fame Monster†album released in 2009 by Streamline/Konlive/Cherrytree/Interscope records. The album is the follow-up to 2008's Grammy Award-winning album The Fame, which featured the No. 1 singles "Just Dance" and "Poker Face." Combined, The Fame and The Fame Monster have sold 11.5 million albums worldwide, while Lady Gaga's singles, "Just Dance," "Poker Face," "Lovegame," "Paparazzi," "Bad Romance" and "Telephone" have combined sales over 40 million worldwide.
"In just 2 years Lady Gaga has become an international superstar, selling out everywhere in the world," said Arthur Fogel, CEO Global Touring and Chairman - Global Music Live Nation.
