Kimbo Slice's first official UFC fight set for December 5th

Officials of the Ultimate Fighter Championship have announced that popular mixed martial arts heavyweight and member of the cast of "The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights" Kimbo Slice, a former club bouncer former who became a MMA sensation for his street fights, will fight his first official UFC fight live on Spike TV Saturday, December 5 at 9:00pm. Slice will appear in "The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights" finale fight card held at The Pearl Concert Theater at the Palms Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
Slice's opponent will be decided on the special two-hour "The Ultimate Fighter" episode scheduled to air on Wednesday, December 2 (9:00-11:00pm ET/PT). Despite suffering a loss in episode 3 to Roy Nelson, Slice has the chance to return to fight on the show if a cast member is injured and compete for “The Ultimate Fighter" title.
 "The Ultimate Fighter" Season 10 aired on Spike TV is the highest-rated in the franchise history, and one of the highest-rated shows with Men 18-34 on all of television. The Season 10 champion will be crowned at the end of the episode, which will air on Spike and also feature a main event featuring Matt Hamill against Jon Jones.
