Killers front-man Brandon Flowers to headline Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas grand opening on Dec. 15

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, the new resort opening its doors to the public at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 15, will premiere its series of curated musical events with an exclusive concert by Las Vegas native and Killers front-man Brandon Flowers at The Boulevard Pool beginning at 10:00 p.m.
Tickets for the show are available via contests on The Cosmopolitan's social media channels (facebook.com/thecosmopolitan and twitter.com/cosmopolitan_lv), and a limited number of radio giveaways, beginning Monday, November 8th . The show also can be seen live on the Las Vegas Strip when the performance is broadcas on the resort's 65 foot digital marquee.
Flowers will entertain guests celebrating the Cosmopolitan's grand opening with a special live performance presenting songs from his debut solo album, Flamingo. Inextricably tied to Vegas in both showmanship and ideology, Flamingo is packed full of sparkling, stadium-ready songs that run the gamut from expert pop executions and forlorn electro dirges to gospel tunes and even blues-tinged rock.

Also on December 15, The Cosmopolitan will introduce its series of touring and up-and-coming entertainment acts on casino floor hot-spots Book & Stage, Bond and The Chandelier. Mayer Hawthorne, the newest contributor to the retro musical genre will perform two sets at Book & Stage at 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. and will continue nightly through Saturday, Dec. 18.
Located just off the North entrance on Las Vegas Boulevard, Bond will feature Beats Antique, known for their live electronic and world roots music, merging modern technology, live instrumentation and seductive performances beginning at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. and continue nightly through Saturday, Dec. 18. Australian sisters Liv and Mim Nervo, commonly known as Nervo, will bring their clever lyrics and sound to The Chandelier on Dec. 15 for an incredible DJ set from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. and will continue nightly through Saturday, Dec. 18. Performances are open to the public.
On December 15, 2010, The Cosmopolitan will unveil a unique luxury Las Vegas Hotel with a fresh perspective overlooking the heart of the Strip directly between CityCenter and Bellagio.
