Comedian Kathy Griffin will do two shows at the Mandalay Bay Theatre in Las Vegas on Friday, July 18^th. The two shows are schedule at 7:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Griffin is currently starring in the fourth season of her Emmy award–winning series, “Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List”. She has also appeared on several comedy shows and TV series such as Suddenly Susan, Ugly Betty, The Seinfield Show, and The X-Files.

Griffin initiated her comedy career performing in the 80’s with the Los Angeles based Improv comedy group. Her first relevant roll on TV (She previously appeared in short and unimportant rolls in TV Sitcomes such as Night Court and the Fresh Prince of Bel Air) was on the NBC show “Suddenly Susan” playing the impertinent Vickie Groener but has made a name for herself as the self-proclaimed “Queen of the D-List.

In 1998, Griffin starred in her first one-hour special called “HBO's Kathy Griffin: A Hot Cup of Talk”. Griffin also has a career in voiceover work, and has worked on several projects including the Dilbert animated series and other cartoons. Griffin's TV production company is called Inappropriate Laughter, a name that perfectly matches her sometimes scandalous sense of humor.

On June 12, 2008 Griffin hosted the first ever Bravo A-List Awards. Included in the show was a scene where Griffin and Lance Bass mimicked a satiric "wardrobe malfunction", a hilarious parody of the infamous Janet Jackson’s wardrobe malfunction during the Super Bowl Half Time Show.

Her comedy routine usually mocks of her relatively modest place in the Hollywood hierarchy in an insulting way.
