Jose Ignacio Barbero becomes the first Argentinean to sign with Full Tilt Poker

He was ranked number 1 in South America and won several international tournaments, Barbero cashed out twice at the 2006 and 2008 World Series of Poker, and has had several notable international successes in the last few years, including finishing in first place at the 2005 Double Chance Freezeout Rendez Vous held in Paris, and in second place at the €500 Pot Limit Hold'em event in the 2005 Barcelona Open. More recently, Barbero finished in second place at the $1,020 No Limit Hold'em event held during the 2008 Latin American Poker Tour Punta del Este and in first place at a side event held at the EPT Caribbean Adventure Tournament in Bahamas in January 2009, winning over $73 000.
Jose Ignacio Barbero will join other members of the famous Full Tilt Poker Team, including Chris Ferguson, John Juanda, Phil Ivey, Gus Hansen, Howard Lederer, Michael Tureniec, Phil Gordon, Eric Seidel, Soren Kongsgaard and João Barbosa to mention a few. Thanks to the sponsorship deal, Jose Ignacio Barbero will be representing Full Tilt Poker at some of the most prominent live poker events and competitions and he is now also one of the select players with his own avatar that plays with his real name at Fulltilt.com.
