Jennifer Harman: Team Full Tilt Poker Player Profile

Known as the only woman to have won two WSOP open event bracelets, Team Full Tilt Pro Jennifer Harman is one of the most respected female poker players in the world. Harman is also recognized for her charity work and for authoring the Limit Hold'em chapter of Super System II.

Jennifer, who was born and raised in Reno, Nevada, began playing poker at the age of eight. She later graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno and her decision to play poker professionally initially led to years of estrangement from her father.

Harman took home her first WSOP bracelet and $145K in 2000 for the No Limit Deuce to Seven Lowball Event in a final table alongside Lyle Berman and Steve Zolotow. Even though Jennifer had never played in that particular event before, she received a five minute lesson from Team Full Tilt Pro Howard Lederer before the event began.

Two years later she won her second World Series of Poker bracelet and $200K for the $5K Limit Hold'em event with competitors including Mimi Tran, Humberto Brenes and Allen Cunningham.

Aside from her professional poker playing, Harman has also authored the Limit Hold'em chapter of Super System II, one of the most famous poker instructional series of books. She also regularly attends the high-stakes cash game "Big Game" at The Bellagio Las Vegas, making her the only woman to participate in this poker event on a regular basis.

Harman is married to Full Tilt's Marco Traniello, and they are currently raising  twin boys in Reno, Nevada. After receiving a donated kidney, Jennifer founded "Creating Organ Donation Awareness" (CODA) in 2006.
