The IRS is closely examining the operations of Pure Management Group, the Las Vegas club operator and one of the most successful club owners the whole U.S. IRS agents intervened Pure Management Group offices this week, while several media sources reported that CaesarPalace's Pure nightclub was also raided by the tax agents. The Internal Revenue Service hasn’t revealed any information about the nature of the investigation, however, it is rumored that the reason could be the "huge tips" that Las Vegas club visitors pay to bouncers and security agents to enter the nightclubs. Investigators gathered more than 16 boxes of material, including laptop computers and files, IRS agents also spent several hours at LAX and Pure, two of the PMG most successful nightclubs.

"Pure Management Group is fully cooperating with this IRS investigation and looks forward to a quick and satisfactory resolution," the company said. "Until that time, we will have no further comment on this matter.” said a Pure Management Group Legal representative.

Pure is famous in Las Vegas for its exclusive guest list,  celebrities including Paris Hilton, Pamela Anderson, Christina Aguilera, Tori Spelling and the casts of several reality shows are regular club visitors. The popular Las Vegas nightclub was qualified by the E! Entertainment channel as the top night spot in all of the U.S.

The business opportunities in Nevada have brought many celebrities to invest in Las Vegas nightclubs, the most recent is JayZ’s 40/40 club.  Pure list of investors include Shaquille O'Neal, Celine Dion and Andre Agassi, however nothing suggest that any of them have been targeted by the IRS.
