Ladbrokes Poker has recently introduced qualification satellites for the Ladbrokes Irish Poker Festival taking place in the pleasing city of Killarney, Ireland from October 2^nd to October 5^th, 2008 (The Main Event will be taking place from October 3^rd to the 5^th). The event features a €550 buy-in and a guaranteed prize pool of €250,000 and which is expected to attract more than 800 players to the Gleneagles INEC Hotel, Killarney. There will be an additional €300 no-limit Hold’em freezeout running during the Festival as a supporting event on Saturday October 4^th and a €170 no-limit freezeout game on Sunday October 5^th.

Players can qualify for the event in three ways:

Players can qualify online at LadbrokesPoker for as little as $5 and win one of the $1,250 Packages which include the tournament buy in plus and 2 nights B&B for two people at the Gleneagle Hotel. Players will also have the chance to enter the $137.50 weekly final on every Monday at 7.30 p.m. (GMT) in where a package will be awarded for every $1,250 in the prize pool. There are regular satellites into the daily final starting as little as $5. The daily finals, which feed into the weekly final, have a $33 buy-in and are held from Tuesday to Sunday at 7.30 p.m. GMT.
