Image Entertainment Inc, one of the main producers and distributors of entertainment programming companies in North America, announced today that it has signed an exclusive agreement with the Las Vegas entertainer, Terry Fator to film and distribute a live performance show of the celebrated, singer, celebrity impressionist, comedian and ventriloquist. The agreement will give Image Entertainment exclusive distribution rights over the home video, digital, television, non-theatrical and audio material. Fator’s performance will be recorded in high definition in late February at the Mirage Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

 

Known as "The Human Jukebox", Fator jumped to the light spot after winning the first place in NBC's "America's Got Talent" Season Two in 2007. Right after "America's Got Talent", Fator signed a short contract with the Las Vegas Hilton to perform a series of highly acclaimed shows. The next year, Fator signed a five-year, $100 million contract with the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas. Fator’s show will make its debut on February 14^th, 2009 at the 1,265-seat Terry Fator Theatre.

The comic and impersonator, along with his cast of puppets, have reinvented the art of ventriloquism by combining clever comedy and a repertoire of celebrity impersonations that include over a hundred artists and famous voices such as Elvis, Maroon 5, Nat King Cole and Natalie Cole, James Blunt, GarthBrooks, Roy Orbison, the Bee Gees and Marvin Gaye.
