How To Walk Away From The Table
- 5-22-2008
Many poker
players who play on a regular basis sometimes wonder why the game has so many
peaks and valleys of winning streaks. The problem with most players is not knowing when to say “when†at the poker table. Sometimes you will hit a big
hand and win way more than your limit sometimes you will loss it all, but the
euphoria of winning a couple of poker hands and having a big stack of poker
chips can turn poker players into losers. Obviously, the main point of playing
poker is winning and making some money, however, some players can easily misunderstand
that part of the game, believing that the more you risk, the more you win. There’s
a big difference between playing aggressively when you have good hands, and
loosing all your money simply because you’re engaged in the game’s frenzy.
Treating each poker session responsibly is the only way to go if your main goal is increasing your bankroll, if you’re steady in your limits and stick to them and avoid jumping around in different tables and different limits, then you should be able to work your bankroll and become a monthly winning poker player.
