Hawaiian Tropic Zone empties location at Miracle Mile Shops
A few weeks after closing its doors permanently, the Hawaiian Tropic Zone bar and nightclub on Las Vegas Strip has officially moved out of the Miracle Mile Shops as the interior renovations begin for the new PBR Rock Bar.
The restaurant and nightclub was closed on February 21st after a little more than two years on The Miracle Mile. All Hawaiian Tropic Zone's mobiliary, including furnishings, couches and decorations that lined the bar's interior were auctioned off to the public this week, leaving the room ready for the new 13,000-square-foot PBR Rock Bar (Professional Bull Riders) set to open its doors to the public in late May or early June, with a grand opening celebration scheduled on July 4th, 2010.
The new PBR Rock Bar will feature a cowboy infused atmosphere and décor, which includes mechanical bull and gorgeous girls in sexy chaps, as well as live music, beer and barbecue. The bar is also expected to host several PBR World Cup events in the next months and the World Finals in the fall.
“We are excited to announce that PBR Rock Bar, a restaurant and bar concept, will open inside Miracle Mile Shops Spring 2010. The lease has been executed, and they will assume the space occupied by Hawaiian Tropic Zone,†executive vice president and general manager of Miracle Mile Shops Russell Joyner said in a press announcement released last month.
