The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas has recently announced that it will be hosting the first "Poker Jingle at the Hard Rock Poker Lounge", an annual charity event scheduled on December 12^th, 2008. The Tom McEvoy Celebrity Poker Tournament will congregate professional and celebrity poker players in a special event in memory of Mindy Trinidad and in benefit of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The list of players confirmed for the occasion include Jennifer Harman, Brad Booth, Jamie Gold, Erick Lindgren, Beth Shak, Phil Hellmuth, Tiffany Michelle, Todd Brunson, Andy Bloch, Barry Greenstein, JJ Liu, Antonio Esfandiari, Layne Flack, Brandon Cantu, Jeff Madsen, Lee Watkinson, Roy Winston, Lee Markholt, James Van Alstyne, Marco Traniello, Maria Ho, Chad Brown, and Mark Newhouse.

The program of activities include a session of hors d'oeuvres and cocktails scheduled from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., a silent auction and a tribute to Mindy Trinidad, a member of the poker community who not long ago lost her battle against Leukemia. The tribute will be presented by Trinidad’s close friend Kelli Griggs. Then, Tom McEvoy will host a $200 + $30 celebrity poker tournament starting at 3:00 pm with all the tournament’s proceeds will benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in Southern Nevada.
