Skullcandy, a top class designer of audio accessories and other audio-enabled lifestyle products, and the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas have signed an exclusive partnership agreement to create the ultimate music and entertainment guest experience.
The deal gives Skullcandy official naming rights to three of Hard Rock Las Vegas main stages: The Joint, Wasted Space and Friday Night Live at the pool, and sets the ground for several co-marketing opportunities between the companies, including social networking, cross promotions, in-room product integration and Skullcandy branded listening stations around the property. In addition, the companies will work together to create an exciting set of unique property events including “The Next,†a premiere summit showcase for sports, music, technology and lifestyle industries.
“Skull Candy is thrilled to be in partnership with the epicenter of music and entertainment in Las Vegas. This is a natural fit for our brand. We are honored to put the Skullcandy mark on Hard Rock’s stages and we will be co-developing many exciting programs from this partnership. Skullcandy is looking forward to supporting the world’s greatest artists "live on the Skullcandy stage" at the world’s greatest venues.†said Rick Alden, Founder and CEO of Skullcandy Inc. “
Skullcandy will create a signature playlist specificly for Hard Rock Hotel’s new HRH Tower Suites' in-room music Sound Matters Sound Bar, which features an AMX 12†Touch Panel music system with iPod dock and includes over 2,000 HRH owned songs and playlists for guests.
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and Skullcandy are also partnering on multiple levels across both brands from online to retail, to radio/TV and employee benefits (i.e. hotel benefits, concert tickets, etc.).
“Skullcandy is a creative, lifestyle-driven brand that integrates perfectly with our philosophy. It’s great to be involved with such a fast-growing company for this partnership,†said Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Vice President and CMO Phil Shalala.
