Grand Slam of Slots Finishes with a New Millionaire

The 9-day Grand Slam of Slots event by Microgaming has finally come to a close and one lucky online casino player is $1,000,000 richer. This huge slots tournament billed as, "The World's Richest Online Slot Tournament Ever" offered a prize pool of a whopping $1.3 million.
Microgaming began promoting the Grand Slam of Slots tournament earlier in the summer and as soon as the news was released, players were trying their best to get an entry. The only way to win a ticket to this incredible event was by qualifying in the online casinos.
The Grand Slam of Slots players totaled 8,700 this year and 483 players won prizes. The grand prize winner received $1,000,000 and the other 482 players divided a $300,000 prize pool. Although the identity of the grand prize winner has not been released yet, his/her username is "Pattoned".
Online casino players won entries through the many qualifying tournaments at Microgaming casinos such as Aspinalls and Golden Riviera Casino. This year's Grand Slam of Slots tournament featured the popular slot game Tomb Raider and ran from October 22nd to November 2nd.
