Grand Sierra Resort adds Masters Forum Poker Academy as part of the events scheduled for the Jennifer Harman Charity Poker Tournament

The Masters Forum will take place on Tuesday, March 10th, in the Grand Sierra Resort Crystal Ballroom #5 at 3:00 PM. The cost of the 90-minute mini-academy has been set at $110 if you register online and $125 if you register at the door. The lineup of highly respected players taking part in the Academy includes Andy Bloch, Linda Johnson, Jan Fisher, Layne Flack, and Marsha Waggoner. These highly successful poker champions will impart special lessons on topics such as, stages of tournament play, the value of changing tables, overcoming "bad beats," short-stack play, how to keep the chip lead, heads-up play, and more.

"More than 300 players from neighboring casinos are expected to play in the Jennifer Harman Charity Poker Tournament the next day. We expect a record turnout, and The Masters Forum provides a perfect opportunity for everyone to mingle with pros and pick up pointers." Ladies International Poker Series (LIPS) founder Lupe Soto.

The Jennifer Harman CPT will take place n Wednesday, March 11th at noon, the event is also expected to attract several sports and poker celebrities including all three Masters Forum speakers and professional poker players Marco Traniello, Howard Lederer, Tiffany Michelle, Jeff Madsen, Hoyt Corkins, Lacey Jones, Maria Ho, Todd Brunson, Roy Winston, and Lee Watkinson. Also confirmed are ESPN commentator Lon McEachern, baseball players Vida Blue and Tito Fuentes, World Champion snowboarder and X-Games judge Jeff Brushie, NBA's veteran Chicago Bulls player and assistant coach Michael Brown, and NBA's veteran Sacramento Kings player Doug Lee.
