Golden Nugget Hotel to host second annual World Series of Slots

The Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino in Downtown Las Vegas has announced that its second annual World Series of Slots event will be back for an exciting two day tournament set to run from April 16-18, 2010, and guaranteeing more than $250,000 in prize money, including an amazing $100.000 for the winner, plus a championship bracelet.
The event will kick off on April 16 at 4 p.m. with a special welcome reception event at the Golden Nugget Hotel. The first day of tournament will begin at 9:00 a.m on April 17th, with 10 minute pre-assigned sessions in Round One, Two and Three.
The final day of tournament play will be played on April 18th. The final round begins with Round Four and will have guaranteed Wildcard Drawing. Tournament will continue until the final four players are decided. In addition, six free slot play drawings totaling $10,000 will be drawn at 1:30 p.m., five for $1,000 and one for $5,000, followed by the final four tournament at 2 p.m. The top four winners will receive any round-advance winnings plus an additional $8,000 for fourth place, $10,000 for third place, $15,000 for second place and $100,000 for the Grand Prize winner, plus the championship bracelet.
The entry fee for this event is $599 and includes tournament admission, plus $100 food and beverage credit, a access to the welcome reception and two continental breakfasts.
