Gin Rummy Association invites players to its annual Classic Gin Rummy Tournament in Las Vegas

Gin Rummy Association and GameColony.com are inviting Gin Rummy players to the Holiday Classic Gin Rummy Tournament to be held at the Riviera Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on Nov. 15-18, 2009. The event is expected to attract players from all over the world to compete in a 4-day tournament series awarding thousands of dollars in cash prizes as well as ranking points.
Players can register to the Holiday Classic Gin Rummy Tournament at the Riviera Hotel. Partnership events will feature a $300 entry per player, single events will cost $800. In addition, players staying at the Riviera Hotel will get a $70 dollars will be discounted from the Singles Entry Fee.
Next year, several additional tournaments are planned, including the 2010 World Series of Gin Rummy, also taking place at the Riviera Hotel from May 23 to 26, 2010, Desert Open at Agua Caliente Casino and Hotel in Rancho Mirage, California and St. Louis Open at the Marriott St Louis in Missouri.
The last edition of the World Series of Gin Rummy took place on May, 2009 at the Orleans Hotel and Casino in Las-Vegas, where hundreds of Gin Rummy players gathered and competed for a share of the $100,000 prize pool.
The Riviera will also offer a $69 room rate Room Rate from Friday November 13 through Thursday November 19. This rate will be lowered to prevailing hotel rates if they are lower at the time of arrival for the event. For Reservations call (800) 634-3420.
