Full Tilt Poker teams up with Don Cheadle to host Ante Up for Charity online event

World leading online poker site Full Tilt Poker has teamed up with actor and philanthropist Don Cheadle to hold a special Ante up For Africa charity event as part of the Full Tilt Online Poker Series XIII (FTOPS XIII).
Full Tilt Online Poker Series - Ante Up For Africa event will take place on Saturday, August 15th at 13:00 ET and will feature a $100K guaranteed prize pool. International film star and charity activist Don Cheadle will host the event. Cheadle co-founded the Ante Up for Africa Poker Tournament in 2007 along with poker pro Annie Duke and Norman Epstein.
Players can sign up to the special FTOPS - Ante Up For Africa charity tournament at fulltiltpoker.com/full-tilt-online-poker-series/ante-up-for-africa and and enter the event for a a US$100 + US$20 buy in. Full Tilt will donate every $20 fee to help ease the humanitarian crisis in Darfur.
At the 2009 World Series of Poker, the third annual Ante Up for Africa No-Limit Texas Hold 'em Poker Tournament attracted a host of high-profile names including Team Full Tilt's Jennifer Harman, Phil Gordon and Erick Seidel and film stars Ben Affleck and Matt Damon. Organizers of the annual $5000 buy-in tournament ask players to donate 50% of their winnings back to the charity.
To date, Ante Up For Africa has raised over US$2 million, distributing its funds to organizations such as the "Enough Project", "Not on Our Watch" And the "International Rescue Committee."
FTOPS - Ante Up for Africa will feature a $100K guaranteed prize pool, with a minimum first place payout of $22,500. Players will join some of the world's best poker pros including team Full Tilt and Full Tilt Poker pros, alongside celebrities such as Matt Damon, to play for a good cause.
