Full Tilt Poker launches special tournaments in support of the earthquake victims in Haiti

Starting on January 14th, Full Tilt Poker is running a number of play and no play tournaments raising money for several charity and non profit organizations involved in the disaster relief in Haiti.

FullTilt.com has three different ways to donate funds and participate in this charitable effort. The first is the “Aid For Haiti” tournaments running from Thursday, January 14th through Sunday, January 17th, and offering a range of buyins ranging from $5+$5, to $50 + $50. The fee from each player who registers in an Aid for Haiti tournament will be donated to the Red Cross, Doctors Without Borders and UNICEF. The second option is a series of “Aid For Haiti” "no-play" tournaments. These are "fake" tournaments are open to anyone who wants to make a direct donation. Full Tilt will run 10 different tournaments, all "scheduled" on Sunday at 6pm ET (3pm PT.

Finally, an "Aid For Haiti" user has been set up for direct Player to Player transfers. Customers can make donations by transferring any amount greater than $5 to that player ID. All the funds raised will be matched by FullTiltPoker.com and sent to various charities helping the approximately three million people have been affected by the 7.0 magnitude earthquake that destroyed several cities in Haiti on Tuesday, January 12th.
