Full Tilt Poker adds new features to the Iron Man Challenge

  • 7-30-2008

Full Tilt Poker announced that the Iron Man promotion is getting even better and it will now include three new features: Iron Man Plus, a mid-year bonus and a new freeroll. Iron Man Plus feature was created as an extra incentive for players who go above and beyond the necessary hours of play for the Iron Man promotion. Players who gather more than 500 Full Tilt Points in one day get extra Iron Man medals to use in the Iron Man store. A total of 500 points a day will award the player two medals; 1,000 points give them three medals; 1,500 is five medals; 2,000 is 10 medals; and every 1,000 thereafter is another 10 medals.

In addition, FullTilt.com is also offering a bonus for players looking to achieve the Iron Man status all year long. The mid-year bonus is set to be calculated and distributed at the end of this month, and participants will receive extra money in their accounts during August. Each month, the player who achieves an Iron Man status level will receive an extra bonus, players who achieved bronze status will get $25; silver, $50; gold, $75; and Iron Man, $100.

The last new Iron Man Challenge feature is the one-a-day $2,000 freeroll running at the end of the month, and which is available only to players who previously qualified. In order to qualify, a player needs to earn at least one FTP every day during the month. And when I say every day, I mean every day. If a player doesn’t get a FTP even one day, he/she will not qualify, plain and simple, but if a player wins an entry to the freeroll and does not want to play in it, he/she will be allowed to trade the tournament ticket for 15 Iron Man medals.
