Full Tilt Poker Pros dominated the tournament circuit in the second half of 2008, most notably with John Juanda victory at the 2008 WSOPE and German Pros, Marin Klaser and Jens Vortmann and American Pros Erick Lindgren and David taking home their first WSOP bracelets. Full Tilt Pro Max Pescatori took home his second WSOP bracelet while Mike Matusow won his third. John Phan won two bracelets at the WSOP and Card Player Magazine 2008 Player of the Year and the 2008 Bluff Magazine Player of the Year awards.

Full Tilt Poker also extended its brand around the world with the addition of new International Poker Pros such as Fabrice Soulier from France, Chau Giang from Vietnam/U.S, Claudio Rinaldi from Switzerland, David Colclough from the UK, Raul Paez from Spain, Steve Wong from the Netherlands, Trond Eidsvig from Norway, Steve Yea from Korea and Vivek Rajkumar from India.

FullTiltPoker.com sponsored several events recorded and broadcasted in over twelve countries, including the highly popular Million Euro Challenge in Germany, the Full Tilt Poker Million Dollar Cash Game and the Full Tilt Poker Million Pound Challenge in London. In addition, Full Tilt signed sponsoring agreements with NBC’s Poker After Dark and WPT Season VII as well as an exclusive deal with the Ultimate Fighting Championship as main sponsor of the UFC 93.

Full Tilt Poker also took part in several charitable events, supporting the Armed Forces in Iraq, The American Cancer Society, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and Road to Recovery Foundation. In November, 2008, Full Tilt Poker Pro Beth Shak, hosted a charity event in New York for the Children's Hospital raising $900,000. The event was one of the largest charity tournaments ever hosted by a Full Tilt Pro and was supported by other poker pros, including Phil Ivey, Annie Duke, Phil Hellmuth and others. Jennifer Harman and Phil Ivey also hosted charity events in 2008, raising over $400,000 for their charities collectively.
