Frank Mir vs “Minotauro†Nogueira to headline first UFC event in Indianapolis

Officials of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) have confirmed the main and co-main events for the UFC 119 event set to take place on September 25th, 2010 at the Conseco Field House in Indianapolis. The event will be the first that the UFC has hosted in Indiana.
The fight card will be headlined by an anticipated rematch between former UFC Heavyweight Champion Frank Mir and former PRIDE heavyweight champion Antonio “Minotauro†Nogueira. Back in 2008, Mir won by second-round TKO when the two first met at UFC 92 in December 2008, winning the UFC Interim Heavyweight Championship from Nogueira.
"Ever since Frank Mir beat Nogueira for the heavyweight title in 2008, Minotauro has asked me for this rematch because he wants to prove that the first fight was a fluke. On September 25th, he gets his wish, and I don't think there's any fighter more motivated than he is to even the score†said UFC president Dana White in a statement released this week .
The UFC 116 Mir vs. Nogueira 2 co-main event features Nogueira's twin brother Antonio Rogerio Nogueira (19-3) against light-heavyweight Ryan (Darth) Bader (12-0). Other bouts announced include former UFC welterweight champion Matt (The Terror) Serra vs. Chris (Lights Out) Lytle, in an exciting rematch of the finale of Season 4 of "The Ultimate Fighter" won by Serra in a split decision.
