Team Captains Daniel Negreanu and Annette Obrestad have added two more players to their teams line-ups in preparation for the inaugural Caesars Cup. Team Americas added 11 Time World Series of Poker bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth and reigning WSOP Europe Main Event champion John Juanda. Team Europe opted for French pro Bertrand 'Elky' Grospellier and Italian experimented player, Dario Minieri. A few weeks ago, Team Americas' Captain Daniel Negreanu picked Phil Ivey as his first reinforcement, while Team Europe chief Annette Obrestad named the 2008 WSOP Champ Peter Eastgate as her first team mate.

This one of a kind event will feature two teams comprised of players from North America and Europe in a battle for poker superiority. The inaugural Caesars Cup will kick off on September 26th as part of the World Series of Poker Europe Presented by Betfair and set to run from September 17th to October 2nd in London, England. The Caesars Cup will feature the game No-Limit Hold’em with two teams of eight doing battle over a series of Heads Up and team formats, with points awarded at each stage. The unique formats will include alternate betting and other non-traditional elements as players aim to win points for their teams.

Now that two more spots have been filled, Negreanu and Obrestad will be responsible for selecting the remaining team members. Several sites have rumored that poker Legend Doyle Brunson, Justin Bonomo, Chris Ferguson and Tom “Durrrr” Dwan may soon join Team Americas' line-up. Patrik Antonius, Gus Hansen, Marcel Luske, David Benyamine and Carlos Mortensen are also some of the candidates mentioned for Team Europe. The final European player will be determined by a special leaderboard event currently being hosted by Betfair Poker.
