Flamingo Las Vegas signs Donny and Marie Osmond

The Flamingo
Las Vegas has sealed the deal with famous cultural icons Donny and Marie Osmond
as part of the Flamingo’s show renovation plans. The celebrated duo will begin
a series of shows planned for September, 2008 at the Flamingo Showroom. Singing
and dancing since their early performance at the Andy Williams Show, Donny and
Marie have sold millions of albums and won at list thirty awards in over 30
years of career. The Osmond’s show is presented by Danny Gans and Chip Lightman
of Gans-Light Entertainment; the show’s producers have plans to launch a 90
minute extravaganza featuring Donny & Marie's greatest hits as well as a
multimedia show, custom designed stage with numerous screens and an exclusive
group of dancers. The show will play Tuesday-Saturday shows for a total of 26
weeks at the Flamingo Showroom.

The iconic "Donny & Marie" variety show was aired for the first time in 1976, after series solo successes, the duo decided to get together again in 1998, hosting the "Donny & Marie" talk show  as well as the "Miss USA" pageant, and "America's Favorite Mom.†Tickets for Donny & Marie will be on sale starting on April 28th.
