Flamingo Las Vegas rescinds Tony Braxton show permanently

The Flamingo Las Vegas has
announced today that Toni Braxton's Revealed show has been canceled permanently
due the singer’s recent health complications. Toni Braxton: Revealed, had been
postponed since the R&B diva was hospitalized after suffering chest pains
in April 7th. “Tony Braxton:
Revealed†was initially suspended and rescheduled a couple of times, only a
few days ago, the Flamingo Las Vegas officials expressed to the media that
Braxton’s show was programmed to continue June 6th.
Harrah's Entertainment representative,
Deanna Petit, said the Flamingo is terribly sorry but she didn’t make any comments
about Braxton’s current medical condition. The singer was only a few months
away from finishing her contract to perform a series of
“Upon learning several weeks ago of Ms. Braxton’s health concerns, our first and foremost consideration was her well-being. We have truly enjoyed having her as our resident headliner and continue to wish her a full and quick recovery so that she may resume doing what she loves best, entertaining audiences.†said Don Marrandino, president of Flamingo Hotel, in a press released issued Thursday night.
