First Annual Turkey Day 5K Las Vegas Run to Tour Downtown Las Vegas for a Good Cause
The innaugural Turkey Day Run 5K comes to Las Vegas on November 24, 2011 to benefit Three Square and will take runners through historic Downtown Las Vegas, before the neon celebration at the Fremont Street Experience.ÂÂ

Since 1989 the Turkey Day 5K or TD5k has encouraged runners, joggers and walkers to start Thanksgiving Day with a healthy 5 kilometer course and help out a great cause at the same time.
ÂÂ
Three Square is Southern Nevada's only food bank that provides meals to Lincoln, Nye, Esmeralda and Clark Counties and runners are encouraged to bring at least 3 non-perishable food items per family to help families in need.

Start time for the race is 8:00 am and registration is available until November 17th. The race will start and end downtown on Las Vegas Boulevard at Fremont Street.ÂÂ

There will also be a post-race party at the 3rd Street Stage with athlete refreshments, great music and the trophy presentation. Event sponsors will also be giving away great prizes, with everyone having the opportunity to win something.

Early registration is $15 for LTF members and $25 for non-members

November 2 - 17 registration: $20 for LTF Members, $30 for non-members

Race Day registration: $35 for members and non-members
