Everest Poker Tables at the WSOP
- 5-2-2008
That’s right, Everest Poker has signed a deal with the World Series of Poker as the main the sponsor for this year’s event. EverestPoker.com signed a multi year deal with the Harrahs organization to be the only poker related sponsor for the 2008 edition of this world famous poker extravaganza, which means that the Everest Poker logo will appear on all of the tables used at this years WSOP, an action that represents an immense advertising diffusion for the online poker site.
The 2008 World Series of Poker organization will also be using the Everest Poker logo on the inner ring on the final table for each of the many events scheduled for the WSOP. Giga Media will use the sponsorship to bring as many of its winning players to the World Series as they can. Everest Poker will gain some great exposure for its site since the popularity of poker and its televised viewers continues to grow. The sponsorship deal includes banners and even the crowd control barricades. This is a great move for EverestPoker which is still a minor site in comparison to Full Tilt and PokerStars both which usually have a large amount of players at the WSOP and the free advertising that goes along with it.
With this new campaign Everest Poker will be able to start attracting more players to their site. It is unknown as the exact components of the Harrahs /Everest Poker deal and the amount of years this partnership is for is also unclear. In 2007 the WSOP was viewed in over 350 million households as well as the videos published on Youtube.com. A great marketing effort for a growing and very promising poker site, unfortunately EverestPoker.com doesn’t allow U.S. Players.
