ESPN Zone at the New York New York Hotel to host 2010 Speed Pool and Trick Shot Magic

The 2010 Speed Pool and Trick Shot Magic, the premier special events in professional billiards, will be hosted by ESPN Zone at the New York New York Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on September 1 – 2, 2010.
The 2010 International Speed Pool Challenge will feature four top players from an international roster competing for a $25,000 prize pool. 2009 and 2006 International Speed Pool Champion, Luc Salvas, will travel to Las Vegas to defend his title. Also confirmed for this event are also a 2008 and 2007 International Speed Pool Champion Bobby McGrath, 2009 and 2008 International Speed Pool Runnerup Dave Pearson, and World Straight Pool Champion Thorsten Hohmann.
Trick Shot Magic will present eight international stars of the sport contending for $30,000 purse on September 1 - 2. Players invited for this event include 2009 Trick Shot Magic Champion Andy Segal, 2008 and 2002 Trick Shot Magic Champion Tom Rossman, 2007 and 2005 Trick Shot Magic Champion Stefano Pelinga, 2009 Ultimate Trick Shot Champion and 2008 World Champion Jamey Gray, 2010 World Artistic Pool Masters Champion Nick Nikolaidis, 2009 XTM Masters Trick Shots Champion Florian Kohler, 2010 Ultimate Trick Shot Challenge Champion Dave Nangle, and 2010 Artistic Pool Masse / Special Arts Champion Gabi Visiou.
The Semifinal matches and the Championship match of both events will be telecast by ESPN beginning in November.
ESPN Zone at New York New York Hotel will make the events Admission Free for spectators. The International Speed Pool Challenge Semifinals and Championship Finals will begin at 4 PM on September 1. The Trick Shot Magic Semifinals and Championship Finals will begin at 4 PM on September 2.
