EPT German Open 2008

The second edition of the European Poker Tour German Open will take
place from January 29th to February 2nd. The officials
are sure that the tournament is going to be as successful as last year, in
which a total of 493 players entered the event. The buy-in for the German Open is
€7.700+300.
Well, from a German point of view the German Open is the Highlight of the year. The most famous German poker stars will join, Katja Thater, Michael Keiner, Thomas Bihl and Sebastian Rughenberg to name just a few. But everybody’s attention is fixed on former tennis star Boris Becker, who will play is first major tournament as a member of Team PokerStars.com.
Also Daniel Negranu, Luca Pagano, Noah Boeken, Dario Minieri and the winner of the PCA Bertrand ‘Elky’ Grospellier are joined by Marcel Luske, Sorel Mizzi, Brandon Schaefer and Joseph ‘bigegypt’ Elpayaa are some of the poker stars mentioned as favourites to win the German Open title.
