Entraction Poker Network launches European Masters of Poker
- 12-29-2008
Online gaming software developer Entraction Holding AB has announced the launch of the European Masters of Poker, a new and innovative poker tournament organized in conjunction with some of the most popular and exclusive casinos in Europe. The first EMoP will consist of a series of five live poker tournaments scheduled to kick off on February 20th, 2009 at the Olympic Casino in Tallinn, Estonia, and ending in September at the eclusive Casino Di Venezia in Malta.
Regardless of the
large selection of poker tournaments in Europe, not all players are able to enter
a tournament when the buy-in costs thousands of dollars. However, the philosophy
behind the European Masters of Poker is to give non professional players along
with other poker players the chance to play in a professional tournament and
compete for a first prize of up to $200,000. Players will be able to
buy-in for €1,100 or qualify for a seat for as little as $5 on the Entraction online
poker sites, including 24H Poker, Goldwing Poker and more recently No IQ Poker.
The European Masters of Poker, which will debut
with five separate tournaments, is owned by Entraction's Maltese subsidiary
TNPT Limited and set to take place in several casinos in the European continent.
