Online gaming magazine eGaming Review handed out its annual awards, distinguishing a total of 19 companies as the best of the best in the gaming industry. The big winner of the night was the UK gaming operator Ladbrokes, which at the end of the day collected a total of three awards for categories such as “Affiliate program of the year”, “Multi-channel operator of the year” and “UKsportsbook of the year”.

PartyGaming, owner and operator of Party Poker, PartyBets and Party Casino received two awards for “Socially responsible operator of the year” and “Operator of the year” for the second time in the last three years.

As reported yesterday, Everest Poker received the “Poker operator of the year” award for the second consecutive year, while the Swedish gambling firm Betfair received the distinction as “Green Operator of the year.” The big surprise of the night was PKR.com’s designation as “Hotshot operator of the year award”, a recognition given to the site for its constant innovation and commitment with its customers and for the incredible growth and popularity achieved in only two years of operations.
