DoylesRoom.com enlists Entourage Star Kevin Connolly for Celebrity Bounty Tournament
- 2-23-2009
Online poker site DoylesRoom.com has recently informed that actor and Golden Globe nominee, Kevin Connolly, famous for his role as Eric "E" Murphy on the HBO hit series "Entourage", and star on the romantic comedy, "He's Just Not That into You," will be taking a seat with the most legendary figures in poker for the Celebrity Bounty Tournament scheduled to take place on February 25th, 2009.
The event will give poker players the opportunity to chat and bounty hunt the 10 time WSOP bracelet winner Doyle Brunson, world-renowned poker professor, Mike Caro, WSOP and WPT champ Hoyt Corkins as well as a series of celebrity guests. Prevouis editions of the event have featured celebrity guests such as Nicky Hilton, Pamela Anderson, and Jamie-Lynn Sigler, as well as professional poker players Todd Brunson, Billy Baxter, Alex Kamberis, Dewey Tomko and many others.
Connolly is no stranger to the poker table, however, this time Kevin will have to put his poker skills on trial against hundreds of other online players looking to knock him down and take the reward. But regardless of what happens, Doyle and the rest of Team Brunson are glad to save a seat for such talented actor, director and poker player.
"It's great having Kevin Connolly back in the bounty hot seat. He knows as well as anyone the intense pressure of having everyone in the tournament gunning for the prize money on your head!" says the poker legend Doyle Brunson.
The event will kick off on Wednesday, February 25th at 9:30 pm ET, the tournament will feature a $27.50 buy-in with a special $25,000 cash prize for any players who knocks out all three key bounties. There’s also a $5,000 consolation prize for the player who knocks out two key bounties and $500 for any player who knocks out any single bounty. First-time players will have the opportunity to play for free, as DoylesRoom will generously give them a full-refund of their tournament buy-in and fees.
