Professional poker players Doyle “Dolly†Brunson and Mike "The Mad Genius of Poker"Caro will give poker players from all levels the chance to expand their knowledge and learn from two of the best pros in the world in a series of Power Poker Seminars held at the Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino. The seminars will take place at Pavilion 9 inside the Rio convention area on June 13th and 14th and two weeks latter on June 27th and 28th. The seminars will cover a series of topics ranging from basic strategy to online poker, poker psychology and tells. In addition to topics covered on every session, each seminar will also include a question and answer session with Doyle Brunson.ÂÂ
Considered as a living legend in the professional poker circuit, Doyle "Texas Dolly" Brunson has played poker for over 50 years, achieving a highly successful career and winning 10 World Series of Poker bracelets. Brunson, who began playing poker in college, is also a member of the Poker Hall of Fame and an acclaimed book author, Super/System, which is widely considered to be one of the most popular books on poker even written. Super/System gave and still giving players around the world an insight into the way that professionals play and win and how to develop the skills and strategies needed to become a successful player.
Also known as "The Mad Genius of Poker", Mike Caro is one of the most prominent and recognized authorities on poker strategy, psychology and statistics. He contributed 50 statistical tables to Doyle Brunson's Super/System and wrote a chapter on draw poker. He has also worked as consultant for many casinos, providing odds, and helped developing the first commercial PC program for poker situations analysis. He is the founder of the Mike Caro University of Poker, Gambling and Life Strategy, the world's first permanent poker school in where he is the head instructor.
