College Football Week 1 Betting Preview
- 8-31-2009
The 2009 College Football Regular Season will make its first week debut this Thursday September 3rd and to start things off right, one of the best games of the week - South Carolina takes on North Carolina St. The sportsbetting site SBGGlobal has NC State favored to win by a -4 1/2 and the total at 46 points.
Expectations have been high ever since Steve Spurrier came in to take over coaching duties and NC State's Tom O'Brien may take a while to pull up this team and hopefully head to a bowl game.
Another College Football Week One game to look forward to is Notre Dame against Nevada on Saturday where the Fighting Irish are favorites by 14 1/2 points and the total is set at 61 1/2 points at SBG Global Sportsbook. Some may think that this is a warm-up game for Notre Dame, but both of these teams have had their ups and downs in the past.
Oregon will also make their way to Boise to get their revenge from the Broncos from last year's 37-32 loss in Eugene. SBGGlobal.com has this game's odds at -4 1/2 in favor of Boise St. and the total set at 63 1/2.
