CityCenter, the mega hotel and casino complex located on the Las Vegas Strip, have recently informed that they have started accepting reservations for Vdara Hotel and ARIA Resort & Casino.
Vdara, which is scheduled to make its debut on October 1st, 2009, will become the first property inside City Center to open its doors to the public, followed by Mandarin Oriental and Crystals retail and entertainment district in early December. The City Center’s opening celebrations will conclude on December 16th, 2009 with the launch of ARIA Resort & Casino.
Located between the Bellagio and Monte Carlo Resort and Casino, the CityCenter is a joint venture between the Las Vegas hotel operator MGM Mirage and Dubai World; the complex will integrate gambling and non gambling hotels, residential buildings, a 500,000-square-foot retail and entertainment district; and a $40 million public Fine Art Program. The 57 story hotel tower features a total of 1,495 suites ranging from 500 to 1,650 square feet, an exclusive 16,000-square-foot, two-level wellness spa, salon and fitness complex, several restaurants, lounges and bars and a 10,000 square feet of contemporary conference space, all enclosure in a non-gaming, smoke-free and relaxing environment.
"The launch of reservations for Vdara and ARIA brings us one step closer to the opening of this magnificent urban resort destination, which will introduce a new generation of Las Vegas experiences and become the benchmark for hospitality across the globe," said Bill McBeath, president and COO of ARIA Resort & Casino.
Scheduled to open on December 16th, ARIA Resort & Casino will be the centerpiece of CityCenter thanks to its sophisticated and modern design, unique selection of dining options ranging from casual bistros and cafes to top class restaurants featuring some of the best chefs and restaurateur in the city, including Masayoshi Takayama, Shawn McClain, Michael Mina, Julian Serrano, Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Sirio Maccioni, Jean-Philippe Maury and The Light Group.
ARIA will also offer several entertainment options, including a new Cirque du Soleil’s production celebrating the musical legacy of Elvis Presley. In addition guest will also enjoy a luxurious spa featuring 62 individual treatment rooms and three spa suites, a magnificent pool deck surrounding the three pools, as well as an European pool, hot tubs and luxurious cabanas.
