The Consumer Electronics Show - regarded as the world's biggest technology trade show - opens tomorrow at the Las Vegas Convention Center, though most techies attending the CES have already descended upon Sin City.
An annual event in Las Vegas, the CES will run from Jan. 10- 13, and buzz is already building around some of the products debuting - as well as the celebrities pitching them.
According to ABC News, highlights of the CES will include Justin Bieber introducing a Vietnamese robot developed by TOSY Robotics.
Yup. You read that right.
While the Biebs introducing a life-like robot to the world would seemingly be the headliner of the CES, there are plenty of other things going on to keep attendees with more practical interests busy.
The CES Blog online reports that companies like VIZIO, LG and Samsung are set to introduce market-diversifying products at the CES Las Vegas, including tablets, organically-lit TV's and the next generation in audio accessories and technology.
For CES Las Vegas attendees hoping to run into celebrities not named 'Bieber,' there are several other celebs set to promote gadgets at the CES. Noteworthy attendees include rapper 50 Cent, basketball Hall of Famer Dennis Rodman, TV star Eliza Dushku and the feisty Jersey Shore alum, Snooki. All are attached to some technology company, respectively, as the CES has long been host to the tradition of using famous personalities to promote everything from cameras, video games and the aforementioned robots.
The CES is also home to dozens of exclusive panels and discussions, many of which analyze the impact of technology on, well, everything - from fitness, to movies, clothing and more.
The CES will conclude Thursday, Jan. 13. If you're in the tech industry and missed the advance registration deadline, check out this helpful link to find FAQ's on how to attend the CES Las Vegas.
