Celebrating the fourth of July in Las Vegas

Independence Day is just around the corner, and the old time American classic way to celebrate would be with tons the fireworks. Some places have amazing fireworks every 4th of July, WashingtonDC, Maryland, Florida, etc, but possibly the most spectacular firework show in the whole U.S is held every year in the splendid city of Las Vegas. The stunning view of the Las Vegas Strip illuminated by hundreds of explosions in the sky provide one of the most extravagant and overgenerous experiences anyone can imagine, and since this year the fourth of July is on Friday, the celebration will include something more than a firework show.

Almost every hotel facing The Strip is a good place to admire the firework show, but there are also some favorite spots to watch the show and have a complete perspective of the splendid pyrotechnics. For example, the Eiffel Tower at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel and Casino, the Stratosphere Tower, the Mixed Lounge at THE Hotel in the Madalay Bay Resort and casino, the Fontana Bar at the Bellagio, the VooDoo Lounge club at the Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino and the Ghost Bar at the famous and iconic Palms Resort and Casino.

You will have to pay a cover to get into most of the Las Vegas nightclubs; however, the spectacular view is only one of the things you enjoy during the 4th of July, these clubs also offer selected beverages and cocktails and some of the most exotic and exclusive parties, DJs or live bands, dancing and events organized for the Independence Day weekend. Some clubs operate as restaurants during the day and the evening and then transform into nightclubs for during the night. Be aware that you would probably need to make a reservation if you’re panning to attend the larger parties or if you want to visit the elite clubs, some even have casual dress code restrictions or limit the entry of all-male groups

But if you’re planning to take your family and look for a more relaxed atmosphere you can always check activities such as the Star Spangled Spectacular at the HillsPark in Summerlin, a picnic in the park with fireworks, music, sunshine and lots of fun for all the family. The firework show also will feature a semi-classical concert to raise the festive spirit starting at 7:30 pm. Other options include Night of Fire at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, the 8th Annual Independence Day Jubilee on July 3rd at SeastrandPark and the Las Vegas 51s vs. Fresno Grizzlies game followed by a firework show.
