Carmen Electra to headline Crazy Horse Paris show at MGM Grand

As it was reported by People Magazine this week, actress, model and entertainer, Carmen Electra  has signed a contract with the producers of “Crazy Horse Paris” to headline the popular topless cabaret show presented at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino starting in July, 2009.

According to Electra's manager, the former Baywatch star will star in a week's worth of shows in July, the same week Holly Madison will go join the cast of “Peep Show”at the Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino to replace Kelly Monaco. Electra will perform only three acts during the show, including “Leçon D’Érotisme,” “Chain Gang” and an ensemble number, “Étoile de Paris.”

"It is such an iconic show and I was in awe after seeing it for the first time. The dancers and the performers are so sensual and sexy."said Carmen in a statement.

Even when “Crazy Horse” main attractive is its French cabaret styled acts, sexy dancers and topless dancing numbers, the show's producers have told the press Electra is not going to dance topless or show more skin than the other dancers on the show.

The show only hires dancers who have performed with the famed Crazy Horse troupe in Paris, with some occasional guest appearances, like Carmen, to perform with them. Electra will make her debut on Wednesday, July 8th and will appear every night through Monday, July 13th in both the 8:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. performances.

"She's not going topless, but she will be wearing very little. She's going to wear whatever she is comfortable with."said a show's representative.
