HeadsUp Entertainment International Inc, owner of the Canadian Poker Tour (CPT) is inviting poker players to take part in the 2010 WPS Caribbean Poker Cruise, an exclusive event designed and launched between the Canadian Poker Tour (CPT) and The World Poker Showdown, and set to take place aboard Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines "Freedom of the Seas".
The cruise takes place April 25 - May 2, 2010, departing from Port Canaveral, Florida with ports of call in the Bahamas, St. Thomas and St. Maarten. The 7 day event will feature 10 poker tournaments with buy ins ranging from $150 to $500 and a $2700 Deep Stack Main Event. Online satellites are currently running on 888 PacificPoker.com starting for as low as $3.
Players taking part in this event will be able to mingle, meet, play and party with poker pro and recently voted the "hottest girl in poker", Lacey Jones, Canadian Poker Player magazines CPT girl of the month Amanda Hellmer, World Poker Showdown Founder Herb Van Dyke and CPT President and CEO Kelly B. Kellner.
Besides the exciting poker tournaments and cash games, Royal Caribbean's Freedom of the Seas offers more activities than probably any other cruise ship, including H2O Zone, Cantilevered whirlpools, Rock-climbing wall , Ice-skating rink, Themed bars and lounges, Fitness Center and Day Spa, Full-size Everlast boxing ring, Full-size sports court and several wine bars and restaurants.
"We are very happy with the response from players around the world as we have already seen bookings from 13 countries which always makes these events amazing. We have held 5 cruises to date and this looks to be the best yet, as the Canadian contingent always adds excitement to the mix!" stated WPS Founder Herb Van Dyke.
Players can reserve seats at this one of a kind event on the World Poker Showdown's official site or by calling 1-800-627-8000.
