The second-annual Caesars Palace Classic has officially kicked off today with the $500 NL Hold’em Event #1, the action will continue every day until October 30^th with a series of events including Pot-Limit Omaha, Omaha 8/B, Limit Hold'em, 6-Handed Hold'em, H.O.R.S.E, a 64-player heads-up tourney, and a Ladies Event with satellites for every event running daily at 9:00 am.The events will feature buy-ins range from $300+40 for the Ladies only event to $500, $1,000, $1,500, $2,000, and $10,000 for the $1 million guaranteed NL Hold’em championship. Qualifying Satellites for the Main Event are scheduled on October 27^th with two $500 + $50 and two $1,000 + $60 events.

In addition, the Caesars Palace will be running daily Second Chance No-Limit Hold'em tournaments with a $175 + $25 Buy-in starting every day at 7:00 PM and Last Chance No-Limit Hold'em tournaments with a $100 + $20 Buy-in are running every day at 11:00 pm. Both the Second Chance and the Last Chance events will run from October 16^th to October 27^th.

The first edition of the Caesars Palace Classic tournament held in 2007 featured 12 preliminary events, along with a $10,000 NL Hold’em championship. There are four additional preliminary events that have been added this year, including a $1,000 NL Hold’em heads-up event, a $1,000 NL Hold’em six-handed event, a $500 pot-limit Hold’em/pot-limit Omaha event, and a $500 H.O.R.S.E. event.

• Oct. 17, noon: Event No. 1 ($500 NL Hold’em)

• Oct. 18, noon: Event No. 2 ($1,500 NL Hold’em)

• Oct. 18, 3 p.m.: Event No. 3 ($500 pot-limit Omaha)

• Oct. 19, noon: Event No. 4 ($500 NL Hold’em)

• Oct. 20, noon: Event No. 5 ($1,000 NL Hold’em)

• Oct. 20, 3 p.m.: Event No. 6 ($500 limit Hold’em)

• Oct. 21, noon: Event No. 7 ($500 NL Hold’em)

• Oct. 22, noon: Event No. 8 ($2,000 NL Hold’em)

• Oct. 22, 3 p.m.: Event No. 9 ($500 Omaha eight-or-better)

• Oct. 23, noon: Event No. 10 ($1,000 NL Hold’em)

• Oct. 23, 3 p.m.: Event No. 11 ($500 H.O.R.S.E.)

• Oct. 24, noon: Event No. 12 ($1,000 NL Hold’em heads up)

• Oct. 24, 3 p.m.: Event No. 13 ($500 pot-limit Hold’em/pot-limit Omaha)

• Oct. 25, noon: Event No. 14 ($500 NL Hold’em)

• Oct. 26, 10 a.m.: Event No. 15 ($300 ladies NL Hold’em)
