Caesars Entertainment to Add 37 'Hangover' Slots to Casinos
This summer, visitors to Caesars casinos will be able to relive the hit movie "The Hangover" by playing any one of the 37 Hangover slots to be installed on their casino floors.
ÂÂ
Caesars Entertainment worked alongside International Game Technology (IGT) to create The Hangover slots, which are based on the 2009 blockbuster. The movie, based on the Las Vegas adventures of Alan, Phil, Stu and Doug, went on to become the number 1 R-rated comedy of all-time for Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures.
ÂÂ
"Caesars Palace was one of the stars of the original movie, so we were sure it would excite our guests to have their first chance to play this entertaining new slot machine at our casinos," said the chief technology officer at Caesars Entertainment, Katrina Lane.
ÂÂ
The Hangover slots, which will be installed in select properties starting in June, will eventually be available for a larger audience throughout the summer. The slots will feature four character-themed progressive bonuses leading up to a base game wild feature. The bonuses include the Stun Gun Bonus, Wedding Chapel Bonus, Mr. Chow's Freaky Free Games and the Villa Bonus. Slot users will also have the opportunity to experience the comedic and memorable sayings of Mr. Chow throughout the game, not to mention his converting of game symbols to wilds, all voiced by actual Hangover actor Ken Jeong.
ÂÂ
"The Hangoverâ„¢ Slots brings a new level of comedy to the gaming market with its wild antics and huge entertainment value," said IGT chief operating officer, Eric Tom. "The game has all the characters, sayings and memorable moments from the movie that helped to make it such a hit on screen. It's the complete package, and we are excited to launch the game with Caesars Entertainment."
ÂÂ
In anticipation of the arrival of The Hangover slots, Total Rewards members can enter The Hangover sweepstakes, where each lucky winner will win a trip to Las Vegas for two. The final grand prize winner of the contest will return home with a satchel filled with $80,000 in cash.
