According to “The Sunday Mirror”, the pop singer is currently planning a special New Year's Eve concert in Las VegasPalms Resort and Casino. The Mirror also reported that Spears, who not long ago won three MTV Awards, is currently working on what is going to be her sixth studio album.

"Britney has been recording her album at Palms and she is good friends with George Maloof, owner of the Palms Resort and Casino from way back. They are cooking up the idea of making a big, bold statement by making her comeback on New Year's Eve. It's going to be the hottest ticket on the planet” a source said to the media.

Britney Spears will reportedly head up to Sin City for a New Year's spectacular live show at the Pearl Theater shortly before midnight that includes burlesque dancers, fireworks and tons of special effects. Following the New Year's Las Vegas show, she then will officially kick off a world tour to promote her new album, which according to the Mirror’s “source” will be on stores this next Christmas.
