Boulder City Motocross Facility in Las Vegas announces 2011 Race Schedule

Boulder City Motocross Facility (BCMX) in Las Vegas announces its 2011 race schedule while looking to the future for continued development on its 55-acre property. The 2011 schedule of events features a total of 10 races with more events and races coming in the next months.

According to Boulder City Motocross Facility General manager Bryce Davis, the 2011 schedule features races that would re-spark interest on a local and regional level as well as events that would attract fans and riders on a national level.

“When the Las Vegas Motor Speedway motocross track shut down, our sport had a void for quite some time. Many riders quit riding, participation and interest dropped. The feedback and the responses from riders and attendees have been completely positive and we have seen a steady increase in participation. Every event has contributed to our goal of re-establishing local and regional support as we have our eye on national and international races.” says Boulder City Motocross Facility General manager Bryce Davis.

Boulder City Motocross will continue to develop the facility in 2011. Improvements planned for next year will include upgrades in the racing surface and track layouts, as well as security and safety improvements including the completion of a helicopter pad.
