Not long ago BodogLife Poker launched the first edition of the Bodog Poker Open, a 6-event series that proved to be highly popular among the online poker community. Now, Bodog Poker has finally announced the official date of the Bodog Poker Open II Main Event, which will take place on Sunday, October 5^th at 4:00 pm ET.

BodogLife hasn’t released a full schedule of events for the Bodog Poker Open II, however, even when the official schedule is still under construction; Bodog Poker has already launched a series of satellite qualifiers feeding into the Bodog Poker Open II Main Event. Players can access the satellites right at the Bodog Poker lobby under ‘Scheduled Tournaments’, then “Bodog Poker Open” (BPO).

Daily Satellites to the BPO II Main Event start as little as 50 Points or $5+$.50. Players can also buy direct entries to the BPO II Main Event for $470+$30; registration is already open with an unlimited number of seats available at the tournament

The first Bodog Poker Open in March, 2008, attracted a field of 596 players just during the Main Event, which amassed a total prize pool of $305,120 including the $25.000 added by BodogLife Poker.  The Bodog Poker Open Main Event winner was “phatcat”, who won over $76,000 for its victory plus a commemorative Omega Speed Master watch valued at approximately $4.000 courtesy of Bodog Life Poker
