Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie to host Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve event in Las Vegas

Officials of Dick Clark Productions have informed that singer Fergie of the Black-Eyed Peas will host the Las Vegas New Years celebrations planned for the 38th Annual Broadcast of Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve special with Ryan Seacrest.
The bi-coastal celebration will include three and one-half hours of special performances and reports from Times Square in New York and Las Vegas. The artist lineup set to perform in Sin City includes Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, Keri Hilson, Colbie Caillat, Robin Thicke, Orianthi and The Black Eyed Peas, who will also perform two shows on December 29th and 30th at the Mandalay Bay Resort and a special New Years show at LAX nightclub. The list of artists performing live from Times Square will be announced in the next days.
 "2010 will be an exciting year in music, and we are celebrating the beginning of the new year with a packed lineup featuring today's best artists and some talented newcomers to the scene." said Orly Adelson, President of Dick Clark productions.
The festivities will kick off at 10:00 ET on ABC with live reports from Times Square and Las Vegas, as well as New Year's celebrations from around the globe, and will continue until 12:00 am ET tith the traditional countdown to midnight from Times Square.
In addition to reporting on the final minutes of 2009 and the traditional Times Square countdown to midnight, the show will also feature music performances from both Las Vegas and Times Square in New York.
