Binion's Casino is transcending
the genre issues with the opening of the Women in Poker Hall of Fame. Poker is considered by many
as a masculine activity but the days of the though player and the hustler seems
to be coming to an end. Binion's
Casino is finally honoring all the great female players who have left a mark in
the world of poker with the aperture of the Women in Poker Hall of Fame. Four great
players have been chosen to be honored in the opening ceremony, which will
be taking place at Benny's Bullpen in Binion's Casino in
For years, women have been showing an increasing interest ipon the game, and now the most recognized female players will be acknowledged for their accomplishments on Saturday February 2nd. There will be a Celebration Tournament after the ceremony with a $500 buy in + $60 NLHE Open Event.
Potential aspirants for inclusion into the Hall of Fame won’t have it easy; they have to pass a list of requirements to be taken in consideration. The requirements include having been active as a player or industry leader at some time during a period of 15 years. They must be a players or industry leader who has significantly contributed to the world of poker. And finally, they must be a player or industry leader who supports women's poker.
