Barrett-Jackson adds extra day to Second Annual Las Vegas Car Auction

Officials of Barrett-Jackson Auction Company, owners of the world famous Barrett Jackson Car Auction, have informed that  as a result of the massive participation in the inaugural Las Vegas Collector Car auction, a fourth day has been added on the schedule of its second annual Las Vegas event taking place at at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino from October 7th to 10th, 2009.

The first Barrett Jackson auction in Las Vegas hosted more than 50,000 guests, and sold over 500 collector vehicles from classic, modified cars to exotics and muscle cars, totaling over $29 million in sales. The top selling car at the event was Carl Shelby's 1949 MG TC race car, which was sold  for $313,500, with the additional top seven cars registering selling prizes of more than $200,000 each.

Besides the live auction held on the main stage, visitors can also take a walk on the floor and inspect all cars available for sale, enjoy exhibitors offering an array of merchandise, and play the exclusive Barrett-Jackson slot machines for a chance to win a 2010 Chevy Camaro. For those who can't travel to Sin City for this one of a kind event, SPEED will provide live, high-definition TV coverage of all four days.
