Another Poker Tournament Season starts in Vegas

Poker players will have more than one reason to visit Las Vegas this fall when a series of special tournaments and other events kick off all over the town. Poker fans and amateurs will have the chance to play side to side with some of the greatest pros on the planet in a series of tournaments that include a WPT event, the famous Venetian's Deep Stack Extravaganza as well as other tournaments that will fill the calendar until the upcoming holiday season.

The first programmed event is the Bellagio's Festa al Lago running from October 1st to 26th, the tournament schedule features 17 events with buy-ins ranging from $500 to $5,000 for the preliminary events and $15000 for the World Poker Tour main event scheduled for October 20th to 26th.  Super-satellites into the championship will run daily at 1 p.m. from Oct. 5-20 for $1500.

The legendary Binion's Casino located in historic downtown Las Vegas will host the Poker Open scheduled from October 15th to November 3rd. This series will feature several events, including many NLHE events along with Stud, Omaha, and HORSE with buy ins ranging from $100 to $1,000, with the average event costing $150 to enter. There will be satellites for the $500 NLHE event #10 on October 23rd and for the $500 NLHE event #17 on October 29th, both featuring a $75 buy in.  Bionion’s will also run satellites for the $1000 main event on November 2nd starting at $150.

Another great event scheduled on the month of October is the Caesars Palace Classic, the series of seventeen tournaments will start on October 16th with one or two events running every day along with a $200 Second Chance tournament and an extra $100 Last Chance event. Preliminary event buy-ins range from $500 to $2,000, the Caesars Palace Classic will close with the $10,000 Classic Championship running from October 28th to 30th.

The Venetian Resort and Casino will also join the action with the fourth edition of the Deep Stack Extravaganza. The Deep Stack series will run from November 1st to 25th and will feature a total of 25 no-limit Hold’em events with buy-ins of $330, $540, and $1,060, closing with the three day $2500 championship final event. This event is incredibly popular among players due its large starting stacks. Even the $330 events offer a 10,000 starting, the $540 and $1,060 events both give players 12,500, while the $2,500 event offers a huge 15,000 starting stack. Players can also get an extra 2,000, 2,500 and 5,000 add-on for each event respectively, with the purchase of a $10 Staff Bonus.
